Dear Candidate:
In this section you will find the information which can make the difference between your receiving an offer for the position you are interviewing for, or not. Regardless of how well you interview, please review all of this information. It has been carefully designed to assist you in interviewing effectively, and generating the best offer.
Please be prepared to pose the following questions during the interview, and make sure you share the applicable personal information. This is vital!
(1) "What do you expect me to accomplish in this position during the first 3, 6 and 12 months?" This is your opportunity to share with the interviewer how your experience will directly enable you to accomplish those goals, and how you have successfully met similar goals in the past. Be specific, and confident.
(2) "What skills do you think are essential to be successful in the position?" After the interviewer answers the question, this is your opportunity to highlight the associated skills and experience in your background which correlate to the answer, to validate the likelihood of your being successful in this role.
(3) "Is there a particular problem/situation that you are hoping to resolve in filling this position?" Share with the interviewer how you have successfully dealt with that or similar problems in the past. Be optimistic, and reassuring that you are their answer!
THESE are the reasons people get offers. You MUST ensure that the hiring official has sufficient information to determine that YOU can and will meet the goals of the position. Don't leave any doubt in that person's mind.
One of the biggest mistakes people make during the interviewing process is attempting to NOT come across as being "too eager". This is sometimes interpreted by the Hiring Official as Lack of Interest or enthusiasm for their opportunity. Always, attempt to display an eagerness and energy in the company, position, and opportunity! This really can make the difference!
Luck has nothing to do with this process; preparation does! Prepare and you will surely do well.
When the interview is over, call us! The client knows that you are expected to contact us if you are interested in their opportunity. If you do not call, they can assume only one thing.
Throughout the process, after any contact from Company personnel, contact us! Your feedback is essential in keeping the process moving forward, and thwarting any misinformation or confusion.
During this entire process, we have one basic request of you.... Communicate openly with us! If you are concerned about something, a scheduling conflict arises, you have second thoughts, whatever, it is essential we discuss these things. We take people successfully through this stressful process daily and encourage you to be open and honest with us for your own benefit.
Sincerely,
